Overview
We use industrial hook and loop fasteners to adhere products to a surface. It all starts with the backerboard we laminate with hook material. With this foundation, our cladding materials, which come equipped with loop material adhered to the back, can be easily applied, forming a bond instantly. No waiting for anything to set, just stick it to the wall and watch as your project transforms.
Hook and Loop
Hook
Plastic hooks designed to stay rigid, while engaging with the loop to initiate the bond.
Hook under 10x magnification
Hook is factory applied to the backerboards to be used as the systems foundation. Choosing the right hook board is important and depends on the job.
Loop
Hair-like loops that will tangle and become interlocked with the plastic hooks.
Loop under 10x magnification
Loop is factory applied to the backside of the materials being used for cladding. The cladding materials come ready to install.
Easy Install
01
Install the Board
Begin your improvement project by measuring and cutting the factory-applied hook board to fit onto the surface you're working on. Once in place, apply a construction adhesive to the back of the board and screw it to the wall.
02
Lay the Stone
Once your hook board is up, you can begin installing the stone. Millennium Slate offers ready-to-go materials, making it a breeze to put them on the wall. A tile saw will be needed to cut end pieces. Thanks to our precision cuts, slate can be dry stacked, creating a distinctive appearance that's uniquely yours.
03
Finish
To achieve a sleek, glossy look, consider applying a stone sealer to your slate. Not only does this enhance its appearance, but it also shields against everyday wear and tear.
